We did a great Father and Son's campout last year and this year.

We have camped here 2 years in a row. Kathy and Pete the camp hosts are part of the reason too. They did a great job of keeping the rustic feel, and still making things convenient, clean, and comfortable. The site has my favorite feature in a camp site "SHADE"!

Thanks Kathy and Pete for making Cherry Campground such a great vacation, family getaway!

Nice campground. We had a party of 35 people and it worked out well for us. Parking is a little limited. It is well kept up and enjoyable to be at. I would recommend it to others.

Our family loves the site! It's very convenient.

Pretty area, but the campsites are tiny! Our double site was the same size as the single sites except it had two tables and two parking spots. There was only one small area for a tent, and it was right next to the parking spots. There are some nice sites, so just be careful about which one you are booking. We stayed in site 12 and definitely won't be back.

We have worked really hard to clean this camp up it was in really bad shape when we took it over. Nothing had been done in years we have had to clean and sanitize the bathroom s paint the floors . Plus cut up fallen trees clear over gron bushes paint tables clean out firepits left heaping with ash .Also we helped keep Balsam and Whitting campgrounds clean .My wife Kathy and I love working with people we try very hard to make your stay a great memory. Please come and see us we are proud of what we have accomplished .sorry we have no water and no control over the repairs.thanks come and see us.

The restrooms are clean, the sites tidy, and the host couple does a great job enforcing the rules when people try to take advantage.

We also rented a group site for a week this year and did a family reunion. This has been an annual event, and everyone was already suggesting we come here again next year.

I had never been to Cherry campground before this stay. I have loved being there and will definitely be returning with my family. Pete and Kathy have been great hosts (I've never stayed anywhere, as an adult, that has campground hosts, so I didn't know what to expect.) I was greeted when I got there, had all my questions answered, and was settled into a nice spot (#8) within 20 minutes. They do a great job at maintaining the grounds. I saw Pete at least every other day working on keeping the campground clean. The toilets, which I expected to smell really bad, have been well maintained and I only smelled them once during my 2 weeks there, and only for a short time (minutes) before the small was addressed. Kathy and I took some time to get to know each other, and she's been very helpful. They are a great host couple and I hope to see them back next year when I bring my family. I loved the peace and quiet during the week, and even enjoyed watching and listening to families reconnecting on the weekend. Weekends might be too crowded for some, but it was perfect for me. Campground is a uiet, close to town, has a nice stream running through it, good sized tent areas, and friendly and helpful hosts. Even with no electricity or running water, it's easily a 5 star place.
